FAQ
How do I book an Adventure?
Click the book it now button on the homepage or room description page. Sorry, we do not take reservations over the phone.
How many people can play at a time?
The maximum number is different for each escape room, from 6-8. If you book for less than the maximum number for the room then another party may book and enter the room with you. A private room option is available for smaller groups to ensure you'll play the room with only your group.

Who can play the game? Are children allowed?
Anyone is welcome to accept our escape room challenge! Our rooms are family friendly however they do have automations including lights and sounds. These can sometimes be startling to younger children.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
How long does the experience last?
The escape room lasts 60 minutes, while the entire experience from start to finish can run up to 1.5 hours. Please arrive 10 minutes before your booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations that receive a full refund may be done through the day before your event. Due to limited availability, we no longer accept cancellations or offer refunds the day of your event. However you may reschedule your event anytime before the reserved arrival time. No-shows (any group not arrived 10 minutes past their reservation time) are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. If you need to cancel a reservation during our closed business hours, please email us at MysteriumBoone@gmail.com. Online processing fee is non-refundable.

Can I come without a reservation?
We highly recommend making a reservation but we are open to walk-ins. If you're unable to get a room immediately, you're welcome to enjoy our waiting area or shop around the incredible downtown Boone!
What if I'm stumped and need help during the game?
We have hints and tricks embedded within the storyline and gameplay. If you just can't figure out a puzzle or clue then you may call for a hint.
May I leave in the middle of gameplay?
Of Course. Your room is constantly monitored and anyone can leave in case of an emergency. Of course we recommend using the restroom before entering. It can be difficult to pick up where your team is if you have to leave.
01..
May I use my phone and camera during gameplay?
No, we ask that cell phones be safely stored in a provided locker. You won't be distracted by calls and texts and we have a photo opportunity after the gameplay is over.
What is a private room?
If your group does not fill the maximum number of players then another person or group may book the same time slot and enter the room with you. If you have a smaller group and would like to book the room exclusively for your group, you may choose the private room option. This ensures that another person or group will not book the same time slot.
Are pets allowed in the escape room?
No, we do not allow pets or animals of any kind in our escape room. Due to lights and effects, the environment would not be conducive to animals. We cannot be held responsible for pets left in our lobby while a group enters the room.
If I've played a room before, may I return and play the same room again?
We only allow repeat players to participate a 2nd time if they book the entire room or a private room. We no longer allow repeat players to enter the room with a 2nd group of first time players. For example; a group of 3 with repeat players must book the entire room insuring no first time group can book and enter with them.
TIPS and SUGGESTIONS
The best way to solve and escape your room is to work together. If you find a hidden object, let your group know so everyone can work to discover it's use or meaning. Some objects will lead you to your objective while others will not.
-
Never use force to open objects or locks.
-
There is no need to move or lift heavy objects or furniture.
-
There are no clues that require something to be torn open or destroyed.
-
No cell phone use in the room.
-
There are no clues hidden in the drop ceiling, electrical outlets, or overhead lighting.
Your gamemaster will go over additional rules before you enter your escape room. Most of all have fun!
Please do not reveal clues to others who have not played. We want everyone to enjoy the experience!
